Rune Gunderiussen

First of all "Rune"...best name ever. Secondly, drool-worthy art....I feel like I'm entering into some kind of mythical Alice in Wonderlandly world where lamps grow on trees to light your way or direct you on the path to your destiny.

Magical Piles of Trash!

Artists Tim Nobel and Sue Webster have to have the steadiest hands and the most patience in the entire world. Their junk pile silhouettes are the most incredible pieces of art I've ever seen.

If only I could get myself to NY to experience the exhibit in person...I never thought trash could be so magical.

Seriously The Most Intense Thing I've Ever Seen

I really don't know what to say about this but that it blows my mind...

Apparently, two artists Dan Havel & Dean Ruck saw this house that was going to be demolished and decided to make it into a "trippy wooden war zone" well....you just have to see for yourself. But I have to sincerely thank those two artists for bringing a bit of extra astonishment and awe to so many people.

Greer Honeywell

Isn't that such a beautiful name? I don't think I've ever known anyone to be named Greer. Have you?
Anyways, point is, Greer Honeywell makes highly original and incredibly exquisite artwork mixing shadows and hardware.

See here, See here.....(i feel awkward writing this....I've been watching Bridget Jones' Diary and unfortunately I have all these strange little brit words stuck in my head...well not unfortunately but wonderfully i guess)

Goldsworthy On A Sunny Day

Last Saturday...on the sunniest day Seattle has had in a long long time...I decided to take a little contemplation timeout at Gasworks Park.

The daises there inspired me and I thought of  the artist Andy Goldworthy who leaves behind organic pieces of art everywhere he goes.

Because of him I decided to make my own mark on the daisy patch sitting beside me. I encourage of all you to be so inspired by nature. Think about coming across some random patch of art someone had created before you. I think it would spread a lot of cheer.
